Call for abstracts for the Virtual Physiological Human Conference 2014

The Virtual Physiological Human Conference 2014, hosted by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), will take place in Trondheim, Norway from 9 - 12 September 2014.

The conference will focus on aspects of the virtual physiological human (VPH), which is the mission to develop a biologically accurate computer modelled human that can be used effectively in both research and in the diagnosis and management of disease.

The goal of the conference is to enhance integration between individuals and institutes working on the VPH model and who share common goals and intellectual standards. The VPH community believes that a healthcare can only be greatly improved by close collaboration between the life sciences, the mathematical sciences and engineering. The conference aims to increase involvement from the physiology, genomics and bioinformatics communities, and increase interest from engineering and mathematical communities.

The call for abstracts will close on 30 March 2014. Visit the VPH2014 website for information on the conference and details about abstract themes and submission.
